meet Jazmin Hayes 

Film is at the heart of how I see the world - it miiiiight be my favorite medium. I spent a dedicated year documenting my own life on my lil Canon AE-1 and I. Am. In. Love. 

There’s something about a messy film photo with grainy texture, closed eyes, and slight blur that feels REAL. I am not here to capture rigid perfection. I want to document your messy and beautiful human experience. I commit to learning the ins and outs of your relationship, so you don’t feel like “just another pretty story”, but deeply seen and honestly preserved.

As an armchair therapist and professional people watcher, you can count on me to stand by your side for every intense familial emotion, all-encompassing envelopment of love, and to sew you back into your wedding dress if it rips (cue slow-motion hair flip - YEAH, I actually did that). Each of those are the purest form of being human and deserves to be documented in a way that takes you back to your day again and again.

Ya girl (me) is a goofy empath through and through. I can meet you where you are, whether you’re an outgoing firecracker or a shy introvert. Whoever you are and whoever you love, you are YOU and I love that about you.
